Nearly a century’s worth of experience combined with expertise and innovations has helped Camel become one of the nation’s leading military tent providers. Headquartered in Caryville, Tennessee, Camel currently handles 45% of the Armed Forces tent market, and has designed and manufactured 700,000 military tents and 50,000 chemical protective apparel items.

The Alliance Hub is a frame supported lightweight shelter designed to provide flexibility of use as a stand alone structure or as command structure in connecting multiple Alliance Series tents together. Up to four Alliance Series tents can be connected to one Alliance Hub creating a complex of shelters for any utilization.

Alliance Series:
The Alliance Series tents are frame supported structures utilizing the same strong, durable, weather tested frame as the mil-spec TEMPER. The fabric sections have been modified to reduce set up/strike time.

Alliance Series tents interface with each other or to the Alliance Hub through a boot adapter engineerd to provide a seamless, waterproof transition between shelters.

Solar Shade System:
The Solar Shade System is designed to provide general-purpose solar protection for food stocks, supplies, munitions, vehicles and equipment. In addition, the structure is used to provide field commanders and troops conducting temperature sensitive operations protection from severe solar exposure in hot climates. The complete system includes: cover, height adjustable poles, spreader disks, guylines, footloops, retrievable anchors/stakes, transport containers and a repair/spare parts kit. The Solar Shade System requires no special tools and is simple to erect and strike. The cover is constructed from lightweight, open weave material designed to reduce solar effects by a minimum of 60%. It is resistant to flames and moisture absorption and withstands the effects of ultraviolet degradation. Another feature, the cover’s matte finish, significantly reduces its luminosity in the field. Telescoping poles provide structural support to the solar shade cover. The poles are made of corrosion resistant aluminum tubing with a dull black finish. The telescoping feature allows the height of the poles to be easily adjustable in 6-inch increments. Available in Type I and Type II assemblies, both types provide adjustable ground coverage and height based on drive through requirements. Both systems feature HMMWV vehicle drive through capability. Both types are designed to interconnect with other covers of the same type to shelter larger areas. Type I covers can be interconnected side to side while Type II covers can be interconnected both end to end and side to side.

Each Camel HVAC size offers all-in-one services for air conditioning, area cooling, dehumidifying and portable heating needs. They are completely self contained and portable.

Pioneer Hub:
The Pioneer Hub is a shelter with a clear span of 16' in each direction with 4 walls whose configuration is chosen by the customer. The shelter can be used as a standalone unit or accompanied with any of the Pioneer Series tent systems to create a complex of shelters for any utilization. It can be set up and taken down without the use of tools, ladders, or mechanical assistance.

Lightweight Maintenance Enclosure:
The Lightweight Maintenance Enclosure is a frame supported lightweight shelter designed to provide units with a covered facility to conduct tactical maintenance operations. The LME is a modification of the Tent, Extendable, Modular, PERsonnel (TEMPER) where extensions are added to the tent frame to add the height needed for enclosure of tactical vehicle and equipment. The end walls have been modified with sliding fabric doors permitting total enclosure during conditions of extreme weather or blackout. The LME has 18-inch diameter duct openings in each of the 16 ft. intermediate fabric sections located below the windows. The U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps have adopted the LME as their standard maintenance shelter.

Pioneer Series:
The Pioneer Series are frame supported expeditionary shelters with fast erect and strike capabilities. The frame is manufactured from aircraft grade aluminum with its members connected using injection molded multi-functional hubs. Each Pioneer Series system comes equipped with a 6’x16’ screened area allowing you to enjoy your surroundings without being troubled by inclement weather or insects.
